The Story:
When I reach out to pet you, I feel time stand still. My hand glides over your short, white, silky fur; you close your eyes, and for a moment, we are one. Your kindness is limitless, your love is radiant, and your playful spirit is captivating. Even your restless button eyes tell a story. It felt so good to hug you, to feel your presence, and I am so grateful you were with us.

Artist’s Note:
Pajti was my dog. Whenever I touched her, the world stopped. She was a brave little soul who mastered the art of enjoying life exactly as it was. She taught me to seize the present—to embrace both the “paradise” and the “hell” moments with equal grace. In this painting, she has just hopped into a basket, deciding it was the perfect spot for an afternoon nap. She always found the most unusual, seemingly uncomfortable places to sleep. This painting is a time capsule of that quiet, perfect memory.

Why “Time Capsule”?
I am painting this series for my children, hoping they will pass them down through generations. I want these works to act as a visual diary of their ancestors’ lives 10 or even 100 years from now—a legacy that inspires them to seek out their own moments of awe.
